Prompto is designed to respect your privacy by default. The app does not require an account, does not collect personal data, and does not sell or share information with third parties.
- No sign-up, no login, no tracking profile.
- No analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs.
- Your favorites and ratings stay on your device.
2. Information we don't collect
Prompto does not collect, store, or transmit personal information such as your name, email, phone number, address, contacts, location, health data, financial data, biometric data, or browsing history.
3. Information stored on your device
The app stores app preferences (such as language, theme, favorites, ratings) locally on your device. This data does not leave the device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.
4. Photo library access
The app may request permission to access your photo library only if you choose to save or share an image generated using Prompto's prompts. Photos are not uploaded to our servers and are not analyzed. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Third-party AI services
Prompto provides text-only prompts that you can copy and paste into third-party AI services (for example, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Suno). When you use those services, their own privacy policies apply. Prompto does not transmit content to those services on your behalf.
6. Children's privacy
Prompto is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
Because Prompto does not collect personal data, there is no personal dataset to breach. Local data on your device is protected by your device's standard security model.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
